Hello, it's me!

My name is Clare & I am an avid lover of ALL things 1960s and 1970s. The music, fashion, history, and culture of those decades have captured my soul, and it's something that I love sharing with others.

In February of 2019, I created an archive Instagram blog (@retrohippies) which has reached nearly 100,000 followers. This page has allowed me to connect with likeminded individuals, many of whom have since become my fellow hippie friends and family, and expand onto multiple different platforms. I am beyond blessed to be connected with icons, such as the band Blondie, CREEM Magazine, and the Grateful Dead's own Bill Kreutzmann, to name a few.

I am utilizing this web page to expand my love for the past, while shining light on modern day issues. The 60s occurred over fifty years ago, but this blog, among many other sources, provides living proof that the hippie mentality and lifestyle is alive as ever. I hope you enjoy the content on this site, as well as my other social platforms.
